He also

a

Aesthetic

Kirkpatrick's
special
interests,

Facial
surgery.

practice
he
undertakes
all
aspects
of
Cosmetic
and
Aesthetic
surgery,

Craniofacial
surgery.
He has

extensively

medical
literature
and
lectures

nationally
and
internationally.

James is

He
graduated
as a
Doctor
from the
University
of
London
in 1994.
Following
a four
year
training
programme
in

Surgery,
he
became a
member
of the
Royal
College
of
Surgeons
of
England
(FRCS)
in 1998.

time he
began
his
training
in
Plastic
Surgery
and
gained
extensive
experience over
a period
of 10
years.
He is on
the
General
Medical
Council
(GMC)
Specialist
Register
for
Plastic
Surgery
since
2008.
During
his
training

plastic
surgery
he
undertook
fellowships
in Head
and Neck
Surgery
at The
Royal
Marsden
Hospital
and a
fellowship
in the
USA.

Mr James
special
interests
at the

cancer
reconstruction

breast
reconstruction.

Mr James
undertakes
rhytidectomies,
rhinoplasties,
neck
rejuvenation,
aesthetic mammoplasties
and body
contouring.

Shehan
Hettiaratchy

Shehan
Hettiaratchy
was born
and
raised
in
Hampshire.
He was
educated
at
Winchester
College
and,
after a
gap year
as an
officer
in The
Parachute
Regiment,
he went
up to
Trinity
College,
Oxford
to read
medicine.
He
graduated
from
Oxford
in 1994
with
prizes
in both
medicine
and
surgery
and a
blue in
boxing.
He
underwent
basic
surgical
training
in
London
and
obtained
FRCS(Eng)
in 1998.

Mr Hettiaratchy has trained in plastic surgery in various units in
London
and
Birmingham.
He
obtained
FRCS(Plast)
in 2007.
His
special
interest
is upper
and
lower
limb
reconstruction
and
congenital
hand
surgery.
He has
undertaken
a
microsurgical
fellowship
with
Prof
Jagdeep
Nanchahal
at
Charing
Cross
Hospital,
a hand
and
peripheral
nerve
fellowship
with
Professor
Michael
Tonkin
in
Sydney,
Australia
and an
aesthetic
fellowship
at the
Wellington
Hospital.
He is
currently
a locum
Consultant
at
Chelsea
and
Westminster
Hospital
and an
Honorary
Consultant
at Guy’s
and St
Thomas’
Hospitals.

Mr Hettiaratchy spent 2 years as a research fellow at the Department
of
Plastic
Surgery
and the
Transplantation
Biology
Research
Center,
Massachusetts
General
Hospital,
Harvard
Medical
School,
Boston
USA. He
developed
the
first
large
animal
model of
limb
transplantation
without
long-term
immunosuppression.
For this
work he
was
awarded
a
Doctorate
of
Medicine
from
Oxford,
a
Hunterian
Professorship
from the
Royal
College
of
Surgeons
of
England,
the
Pulvertaft
Prize
from the
British
Society
of
Surgery
of the
Hand and
various
awards
from
other
American
and
British
Societies.
He has
written
over 40
papers,
several
book
chapters
and one
text
book.

When not trying to beat one of his three children on the Wii,
Shehan
is a
keen
runner
and
member
of the
Army
Reserve,
serving
with 144
Parachute
Medical
Squadron,
RAMC(V).
He will
be
deploying

Floyd
graduated
from
Cambridge
University
in 1985
and

his
medical
degree
at

for his
research
into
scarring
and
wound
healing.

involves
the
reconstruction
of
congenitally
deformed
children,
ear
reconstruction,
craniofacial
surgery,
the
treatment

congenital
naevii

and

anomalies.
His

aspects

Williams

Greg
Williams
was educated in
the West Indies
and Canada
before pursuing
a surgical
career in the
UK. He trained
as a general
surgeon in
London and
became a fellow
of the Royal
College of
Surgeons of
England in 1995.

He specialised
in Plastic
Surgery working
in a number of
teaching
hospitals in
London before
being awarded
the Fellowship
in Plastic
Surgery (FRCS
Plast.). During
his plastic
surgery training
he became
interested in
caring for
people with
burns injuries
and spent a year
as a fellow at
the Shriners
Hospital in
Texas, USA - one
of the premier
burns units in
the world. He is
now a Consultant
Plastic and
Burns Surgeon at
the Chelsea and
Westminster
Hospital in
Central London.

has published in
the internal
medical

severe burns, Mr
Williams not
only specialises
in all forms of
scar revision
surgery, but he
has also
developed a
special interest
in hair
restoration
surgery, both
for scarred
scalps and for
hereditary male
pattern
baldness.

Brazil with one
of the foremost
hair restoration
surgeons in the
world before
